Re: Michael Talia
It's funny how some things pan out isn't just! Lucky for Sydney he's not playing due to injury instead of not being good enough and playing seconds footy. But if I were Sydney I'd still be screening his text messages. Once a turn coat always a turn coat. They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Re: Michael Talia
I laughed when one of the Swans coaches said on SEN through the season that Alir Alir only got a chance because of the injury to Talia. Alir is so Much better than TaliaThey say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: Michael Talia
Going to SA is a good move for him however, now he's out of the AFL system his weaknesses are going to count against him more than they ever had. What type of AFL list picks up a dud kick with handling issues as an already tried mature age player, from the next tier down?TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Re: Michael Talia
What a diabolical stuff up to his career..!
That 2016 premiership team had a spot there which would've been wide open for either of Talia or Roberts. We'd have held onto Talia and, had he worked himself hard in the 2016 pre season, fined down a bit and worked on his agility and closing speed, it might've been him holding down Tippet in the GF. Becoming the club's only premiership player who was a decendant of the 1954 team. Via a dying grandfather, no less. What a story it would've been..! There would've been some good will and romanticism to have given him a selection edge if he was a 50/50 for that last defender's slot.
As history has it, he made some incredibly poor decisions and buggered it all up.Comment

Re: Michael Talia
Basically every word leaning towards self redemption from him is completely shallow. Just like his ominous first interview with Sydney when he pontificated they train a bit harder up there..........
Fletch for all his flaws has better hands, better instincts and is a better kick. Talia may have challenged him, I'm glad we ended up with what we did on that fine day in 2016.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment
