Of the top of my head it would be Beasley. 575 @ 3.4 a game or so?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Close, but it's Not Beaser. He's high on the list at 3.73 per game, but there is one higher.

Allen Jakovich? His goals-per-game average would have to be close to 4 if not higher.

Jako was fastest in terms of games played to 100 goals so it's possible. I thought of him too but did he play 100 games?

KT maybe? He had 474 with us in 118 games(I think that many games. That's almost 4 a game.

Great get Sedat. I thought that'd take ages to guess.

Jakovich kicked 208 goals in 54 games (3.85 average). What a ridiculous waste of talent he was, held down full forward at 187 cm and was unstoppable on his day, although did SFA for us.

KT dropped right away at Melbourne. Ended up with 593 in 177 (3.35).

He must have had a fait average pre knee injury then. He was still kicking 70+ from CHF

Just had a closer look at his career. Pretty remarkable. Didn't kick a lot of goals in the first couple of years as a teen, but in 76-79 he kicked 331 goals in 75 games (4.4 average), before going out to CHF in 1980, kicking 75 and winning a Brownlow.

After doing his knee, he played 20 games for us in 1981- 82 (1 winning and 19 losing!) and kicked a relatively modest 34 goals. He then kicked 99 in 34 games at Melbourne, but was clearly a long way from his prime.

We cleared Templeton to Melbourne for $200k, which was enormous money in those days. However people often forget that we cleared Moccha Dunstan to North for $150k in the same month. Post '82 season.

Both players played about 25 games between them after that. Shadows of their former selves. Decent sales!
From memory we lured Brian Royal to the club for a few grand and he won our b&f in his first year.

Choco did. He had already committed to the club but had done his knee the year before playing country footy so his arrival was a little low key. Steve Wallis debuted the same game as the kaizer did.

That was Round 1 1983, a real turning point for the club. We had 10 club debutantes that day; Royal, Wallis, Purser, Sewell, Williams, Kellett, Hansen, Taylor, Lunn and Semmens.

And we had traded in Peter Foster as part of the Hansen trade.

Robbie Semmens was the first player to wear 31 after Templeton.
