    Western Bulldogs V Essendon - Pre-Season 15/2/25 Whitten Oval 2.00pm

Might still be a bit early to start this thread but I redeemed my free ticket today for this match.

Looking forward to seeing how we go in our first hitout for 2025.

Booked 2 corporate hospitality packages for the Doggies and Essendon game, can't wait to see how we go.

14 day forecast predicts mid 20C day-hope that’s on the money.

I’m going, and I reckon it’s going to be a sell-out. Should be a great atmosphere.

      Josie :)

      Our day will come
      And we'll have everything.

Yep hopefully the weather is good not too hot as we know it can get very hot this time of year.

          Should be a good turnout.

Did they allocate any seating with tickets? Or is it just general and get what you can on the day?

Essendon supporters were apparently crying because they had to pay to get into the game

The ground doesn't hold alot - maybe 10,000?

Based on the training reports I'm going to have a go at selecting the side
                        B: Bramble - Busslinger - Freijah
HB Dale - Lobb - Gallagher
                        C: Williams - Richards - Davidson
                        R: Crossely - Bontempelli - Sanders
                        HF West - O'Donnell - M.Kennedy
                        F: Vandermeer - Darcy - Weightman
                        IC Naughton - McNeil - Brew - Harmes - Garcia - Gardner

I've given Libba a spell but he could clearly play. Same with Duryea
Naughton starts on the bench but could replace JOD who backs up the key defenders
Gardner is a back up ruckman and 3rd tall forward.
Tempted to play Jaques and Khamis.

Bugger. If it can hold 10,002 let me know I would be keen to pop down.

You're probably one defender light on even with the option of swinging JOD to the back line.
