    Just a thought and question.
I believe Brew has a deal with Werribee for this season if he isn't picked up by the Dogs.
Would that possibly rule him out for playing for Footscray this weekend as it is a VFL game albeit not a H&A game?

So would I be correct in thinking from Southern Cross train to North Melbourne and then a bus to West Footscray?

If there are no trains to West Footscray..I haven't checked that should mean the car park at the station will be close to empty and ideal for supporters.

Busses are replacing trains, not sure of the exact logistics but typically that is a nightmare.

Interesting take, I wonder how big the car park is.

I could drive but if the train station car parks are full then what?

Park at Bunnings over the train tracks?

Easy to find parking in the area - I have never failed. May have to walk a bit.

I don't know the area though so no idea where you can and can't park. My old man did +50 years ago so I don't think he will be much help either!

Same boat as you. The exact convo I was having with my old man. He said you use to be able to park on local's front lawn for about ten bucks!! I imagine parking restrictions are a nightmare around there also.

I usually try the railway carpark first. If that is full then along Geelong rd , otherwise off Barkley st opposite the ground in one of those streets, or Essex st and walk from there.

I guess there will be a lot of people there, so could be different.

What are reasonable expectations about a practice game like this?

                      Does the result really matter?

Or is it really just of interest to see how specific players go, maybe different tactics, and setups etc?
