Naughton lines up on an AA defender who's won B&F's at AFL level. He loses a couple of early contests. He learns from that, turns it around and takes over the game from a contested marking perspective....

Isn't that what you WANT? Players can't be perfect but what you want to see is them engaging with an oppo and working out how to beat them...if they do that and come out on top, big tick. The biggest of ticks. Shout out to the forwards coach as well...great job.
Yeah Aaron seems best to run and jump into a contest or just run up the ground rather than just stand with an opponent especially a quality key defender, Barass got him a few times but Naughts then seemed to goto work and run more, create space in the forward line, being that link man and it suits hm perfectly, he was good, it helps Sam being that one out and not having a pack jumping for the same mark and get's Naughts more into the game.

I am starting to learn on here, that some fans expect nothing but perfection from all players, coaches and staff, at all times.
It's must be a nice perch to sit on.

There were no new injuries that I could see from my vantage point by the games end - that was a positive takeaway.
