          Comments

A brilliant first half that was unable to be sustained as the team was defeated by the reigning premier. We do need to find a way to put a few wins on board.
We had 18 WOOFers contribute votes and a strong core of 4 players in the voting.
Overall 8 players had some recognition in the voting
Top votes to Ed Richards (54 of possible 72) from Rhylee West (44) in possibly his best game for the club. Matt Kennedy (37) led the remainder, with Sam Darcy (29) taking the minor vote. A brilliant performance from the team with a determination to finish it off typified by the heart and soul effort of Libba with his chase down of Brad Hill. We need to maintain that application over the coming weeks to set the team up for a strong position ahead of the hopeful return of Sam Darcy at the business end of the season.
We had 25 WOOFers contribute votes including some new members which is most welcomed.
Overall 11 players had some recognition in the voting, indicating the strong team contribution. There were however, 3 standouts.
The Bont (99 of possible 100) announced his return as if he hadn’t missed a beat and was much appreciated by the fans. Ryley Sanders (48) continues to build on his season and took the runner-up position narrowly from Liberatore (47). The minor vote was shared by Bailey Williams and Joel Freijah (each 14) with both being strong contributors. Matt Kennedy (10) led the remainder from Aaron Naughton (7) and Bailey Dale (3). Tim English and Ed Richards each recorded a solitary vote.

            Leaderboard
            13 – Tom Liberatore
            9 – Sam Darcy
            7 - Ed Richards
            5 – Bailey Dale
4 – Matt Kennedy, Marcus Bontempelli

Another fantastic team performance to take down a contender. Disappointing to allow them late goals but showing the capacity to be a team to watch for the business end of the season.
We had 27 WOOFers contribute votes, but only 7 players featured. Despite that the voting was widely spread through that 7.

James Harmes (72 of possible 108) lead the voting from Matt Kenney (61) and Joel Freijah (57). Bontempelli (24) despite not playing the last quarter, shared the minor vote with Tim English (also 24). Liberatore (22) was close up with Ed Richards (10) completing the tally.

You are a weird unit. I have no idea what you are banging on about half the time. This is a footy forum and it would be appreciated by myself if you would keep your political crap somewhere else. Thanks in advance.

I read you, though you don't get me.
You probably represent others, although no-one has mentioned it in my years on WOOF.
I respect your post and will be aware.
I agree politics should be limited, although Footscray is working class.
                    I should not mention parties.
I think you don't get my references.
I studied philosophy amongst other things and other WOOFERs get me.

The team is rolling beautifully and finish the game off with a magnificent performance after the main break.
We had 30 WOOFers contribute votes, but again only 7 players featured. It was the closest to unanimity that WOOFers have ever achieved in the 10 years I have done the tally.
Tim English (117 of possible 120) lead the voting from Ed Richards (82) with Bontempelli (48) narrowly ahead of Bailey Dale (46). The others were way down with Naughton (3), Kennedy and West (2 each) completing the tally.
My observation was that lots of players performed significantly better than some games where they have received votes, but it was such a great team display that they could not be squeezed in to the votes.

                      Leaderboard

                      13 – Tom Liberatore

                      9 – Sam Darcy

A disappointing result where the lack of surety in ball handling contributed significantly to turnover.
The team did fight it out to mitigate the damage to percentage.
We had 51 WOOFers contribute votes which is a record turnout. Thank you all.
Can I ask that you provide your 4,3,2,1 with player names rather than nicknames as I need to be certain I award them correctly.

9 players featured with a clear top2 and a pronounced 3rd and 4th in the tally.
Ed Richards (165 of possible 200) lead the voting from Tom Liberatore (161) with James O’Donnell (103) taking 3rd ahead of Matt Kennedy (38). Bailey Dale (14) led the rest from English (9), Bontempelli (5), West (4) and Bailey Williams with a solitary vote.

Dale, must be 4th and 5th best in a lot of games according to Woofers.
                          6 Votes is rough.

Actually rated 5th this week and 6th in round 4.
I agree that WOOFers seem fairly harsh on him .
He has been consistently good but has had no votes in 2 games and only 2 or 3 in a couple of others.
