Firstly, we all collectively said the exact same thing about Fyfe last year and then he had a career day out against us.

Yeah...But I sat in the stands at Leederville Oval last week and watched him. His team filled their boots to the good (90+ point win) and he should have been reported twice...once for umpire contact and once for tripping. Those were his only two impacts on the match. Fyfe has been a great player but he has not been that player for 5+ seasons...

I think Match Committee love Gags too much to replace him, but I am guessing.
Gags and Baker could play some outside, but I think this is 7 defenders, Baker Sub could be back or outside depending on need, JOD is a swingman.

How invested would a 30+ yo Fyfe have in a WAFL practice match where his team is flogging the opposition?

Understand the ''look'' it gave off, but I don't blame him for just going through the motions and prioritizing getting a little match fitness under his belt rather than filling his boots on the stats sheet.
