Williams/Davidson outside play Vs the Blues outsides on Friday night, was probably the difference in the game.
      They smahed em.

        They certainly did.

Davidson is really bringing great run and endurance.

Probably needs to tidy up his disposal but that should come with experience.

Just finished watching the game after I couldn't on Friday night, just an unbelievable effort from all the boys to run over the top and finish that game out. Contributions from every single player, even some boys had quieter nights but still managed to step up in pivotal moments.

I'm loving boys like McNeil and Vanders who have been hit and miss over the years having a real impact on games.

Sam Davidson might be one of the biggest draft steals in years if he keeps his form up.

Sanders copped some flack last year but he's quietly been very good this season, and I noticed he was a bit more patient with his handballs, usually he just flicks it out, but he would hold it, maybe step one defender and then find the right option and released us from stoppages multiple times.

Could go on and on about the whole team, but geez there's a good feeling about the boys this year.

I joined the Reddit forum for Carlton just for fun. The meltdown is starting to happen

Question Voss, never should have sacked Malthouse
            Question the players fitness
Questioning the playing group ability now

Loved what my boy in Dolan did when he came on, his footy IQ is off the charts and he has the skills to match.
Every club has a first year player that plays early in the season. Its sensational we found a small forward so soon. I hope he can stay in the side and play a good dozen games at least .

So one thing I have noticed in all 3 games this year is that number of times our guys are being put under pressure exiting the back half.

Given a big reason for the Doggies improvement last year was the ability to transition from defence to offence and move the ball out of the backline I am not surprised that teams have done their homework and have really put an emphasis on stopping he fast ball movement out of the back half. In all three games to date our handball chains are being disrupted and the receiver is under pressure, almost as though we are unable to get the ball on the outside and release a runner.

Not sure if its a personnel thing with Treloar and Bont missing (and Macrae and Daniel), but whilst Bramble, Dale, Gallagher have all ben good at exiting the backline and Williams, Davidson, VdM, and McNeil good at linking we just seem to be handballing ourselves into trouble.

Would be nice if they gave us the voting breakdown. I'd like to know who got the 5+3 and who got 4+4

Rare that the coaches agree on the same 5 players, even if their order differed.

Interesting that Voss gave at least 1 vote to Kennedy.

Maybe he calls it as he sees it and is not a partisan dickhead like Craig McCrae, who throws Nick Daicos into his coaches votes every week in order to artificially distort that award.

Imagine a player being gifted votes in an official award every week regardless of performance.
