Or is Gardner slotting in up forward? I don't get it.

Buss has been pretty good in VFL however Gardner has been very good. Reading play really well, lots of intercept marking, good disposal, really sound in defence. Deserves the promotion.

Not sure about the hand wringing over Gardy. From all reports, he's been dominant at VFL level and has earned his chance. I'm looking forward to seeing how he slots in. Buss' time will come.

The bench is interesting, no bona fide defenders. Rotations and magnets will be key.
I have faith that their plans and structures have accounted for rests and position switches.
So I'm eager to see what the main ball movement patterns will be.

Should be a ripper game.

First thing I thought when we got Kennedy was when we play Hawthorn next he can go straight to Newcombe. He has has some of his best games against us.

I'm curious to see who they sit maginnes on. Imagine Weddle will be a key player for them with amon and Impey a little low on form.

I really hope that this isn't a shootout and we just strangle their in oir front half and put our foot on their throat.

I feel like JJ being out might be significant and skew our balance. Bramble can have a big game here and there. Hopefully he does so against his old teammates.
