The fixture is great for us in that we play Adelaide and Freo here and this is a neutral ground.
Canberra is founded on neutrality between NSW and Vic, and has a national focus, for a sheep station.
I had a 16yo friend who boarded here at St Bede's, his home in Canberra and he played for their seniors firsts at Manuka, 1970.
