Honestly I don’t know. He was subbed at three quarter time.

We won’t know until he runs out against port.

He had a higher TOG tonight than last week. Sounded like it was just minutes, he was fine after the game.

Strong win. Really good contribution from the whole team. We won that game in the 3rd quarter 5 goals to Nil.

We put there defence under siege tonight and we were just way better at the coalface.

Bont doing Bont things (nice to have the luxury to sub him out at the end), Libba great, Freijah great, West doing great things, Kennedy has been the pick up of the season.

Impressed with how Buss went tonight on his debut. Did some good things and I reckon we persist with him next week.

4-3 is a good win/loss ratio and in the 8 considering our injury struggles.

        Go the Mighty Bulldogs!!

How's the courage of the coaches in that game.

We started with the same tactic as last week with the slow transition short kick game but the Giants were just sweating on it and scored from back half at will.
Then, with a first gamer in the key defensive post they move Lobb forward which drags a tall out (Himmelberg) and it appeared we went the get it in fast, lock it in approach with a half forward up to the stoppage (not sure if that was there first q).

Bevo is coaching magnificently, and the players are responding.

Best win for ages. That's 8 from 9 against the Giants

Do you think this is the tactic to shock the opposition into thinking that is our game plan ie the first quarter short kicking

Buss didn't look out of place at all. I liked what I saw.

Very solid debut, like his VFL form he just reads it so well and positions himself brilliantly. People call it ‘easy ball’ but it’s just good footy. The more easy ball our key defender gets the better as far as I’m concerned.

as for key defenders I thought JOD was immense, his best game for the club. Gave a way a couple of soft Frees to hogan early but then genuinely wore him - this is the best one on one fwd in the comp - midfield dominance obviously key but still thought JOD was awesome in his contests. He gets pigeon holed as a ‘3rd tall’ but he’s high 190s height, strong build and as athletic as they come. Hes genuine CHB material IMO.

Buss was just composed, he really brought his VFL game to AFL seamlessly - time to build on this pair down back. I think we need Lobb fwd though so hopefully week off does Jones well and we build our season around Buss, Jones, JOD & Naughty, Lobb fwd - that’s very very decent considering no Darc or Marra

Yep liked his game a lot. We look to have some decent kids coming through. Freijah, Sanders, Davidson and Cleary. Hynes and Dolan have done some good things. Darcy so huge and still young in that forward line as well.

Love the win, we just set up so well behind the ball in the 2nd and 3rd in particular and it obviously helps when you smash a team around the source.

Tim English lead the way around the pill and how good is it having role players like Harmes and Kennedy, they always go that extra yard to pressure the ball carrier(makes a massive difference)and both of them have been more than handy with ball in hand.
