Gold Coast Suns V Western Bulldogs R9, Saturday 10/5/25 at TIO Stadium, Darwin at 7:35pm
Losing Close games too often. If it was 50/50 I’d understand.
Very frustrating in that regard. It certainly helps if you can win them. I believe prior to the close win we had against the Blues this year it was 8 times or so before that that we lost close.
The Pies in recent years have mastered this and been successful.

If you're tackled in play and you run towards the boundary line then I think that should be insufficient intent or deliberate more so than a kick to space that bounces randomly or a skill error that goes out of bounds.
The Suns benefitted from this a few times tonight.
Also, there was a massive front on contact to Lobb from Andrew that didn't get called. I feel that's a rule that's slipped a little.
Disappointing but at least our percentage wasn't shat on, when it could easily have gone towards that happening.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

A lot of guys were far from their best but we still nearly won. Odd game.
Didn’t win any favours from umpires. Where was HTB after some of Libba’s immense tackles, or when English caught Witt in q3, or with Cleary’s tackle in dying moments.
I feel this isn’t one to get despondent about. One we can learn from. I just hate that conditions were so brutal and bodies will be so sore. We’ve had an atrocious fixture.

Gotta win games like that to make top 4, it always seems just out of reach for us.
Giving up over 100 points is the story, carless with ball in hand and particularly poor ahead of the ball. Did Naughty just play one of the worst AFL games of the season? It's hard to fathom the difference between his best/worst he is becoming one of the more frustrating bulldogs players I can remember. Last week he was excellent.
Love the endeavour late, any chance of deliberate/ holding the ball when walking it over the line?
JOD a little iffy with ball in hand on a few occasions but being played in the same position 3 weeks straight has really seen him take a big step forward.
Loved Libba and Ed again they are both having a cracking year.
