Western Bulldogs V Essendon R10, Saturday 17/5/25 at Marvel Stadium at 7:35pm
Have you seen a replay of our 2000 game where broke their 20 game win streak? Probably my favourite dogs home and away game
I havnt watched the game in full. but seen the snippets of it that got shown once. Geez it would take some doing to go unbeaten in a season these days. i cant remember it happening in my time. same as a winless season. surely there are stats on that somewhere.
geez, not sure on the ARTY inclusion. i hope we have covered their talls. i would have gone BUSS
Going to be interesting to see how an in form Timmy E goes against the old stager who usually dominates Tim, but he's aging, and Timmy is on fire, i expect us to win but Goldy could make things tough for us.
Goldy looked 100 years old against North (I didn't see the Sydney game), Tim should smash him.

The closest to a season without a win that I remember was Fitzroy, back in the 60's. The only game they won for the season was against the top side, Geelong. And their captain, Kevin Murray was away playing for Victoria, which he felt was his best chance for playing in a winning side that year. Sadly for Kev, Fitzroy beat Geelong, and Victoria lost.
The truth will set you free,
but first it will piss you off. ... Gloria Steinem.
Dogs by 36, if we score more than 73 in the first 3/4's we might demolish them.
First goal: Sanders
Most goals Davidson, West, & Bont tied
BOG Libba
Hoping to see Davidson playing inside 50 for big chunks
Hoping Arty fires up, plays confident and clean, no hesitation and brings the spark. Couple of snags would be awesome too. Electric seagull energy.
Thinking Bramble or McNeil will be sub

I'm more worried about the periods where we have Buku up against 2 metre Peter. He's no superstar ruck but his size will be hard for Buku to combat.
Nervous because of the implications for our season and yeah backing up after Darwin isn’t easy, but in reality we should destroy this team.
Theyve been better than the past, even despite the easy wins but really they’re one side that shouldn’t really threaten us. They’re slow & methodical, won’t get us with run etc which we can be susceptible too. They’re reasonably hard to score against but I suspect this will be one of those games were we just dominate possession and win comfortably by weight of numbers. They will have zero answer for us in the contest.
Caddy, and Kako had strong games against us in the practice match, and Kako is due. We also can’t allow the ball in Wright’s hands either. He could kick 6 just by taking 6 marks. Without Ridley, this is the game Naughton really needs to shine. He should destroy McKay with agility alone.
Ess have patches were they literally can’t score. If we don’t dominate on the scoreboard during these periods, it will go down to the wire. Goal kicking accuracy will also bear weight in the final score
Does anyone know the regulations around taking kids under 5? I've read conflicting information. On the AFL website if they don't occupy a seat, they're free ... And yet on Ticketek it seems a ticket needs to be purchased.
My daughter is 4 and I'm a member, so I'm wondering what the method is.

I always just walked in when my kids were under 6 and never got questioned.
On a similar theme is tonight’s game fully ticketed or can you just use your GA membership to gain entry?
I'm just a bit surprised by Arty's inclusion but he is coming off some good form and we have tended to reward that.
Based on Wednesdays training drill's I think Coffield was close to be considered but he finished the session running laps so it probably ruled him out.
Big fan of arty. I think he might do ok today. Let's see
