Geelong V Western Bulldogs R11, Thursday 22/5/25 at GMHBA Stadium at 7:30pm
Interesting Bailey pumped up Geelong over being a place where non-conformists are allowed to be, well, non-conformists and it wasn't the case at the Dogs.
Well Bails......maybe we wanted to set some boundaries for you given you were spiraling out of control in lieu of your media hype and drug taking (oh, and that mental illness of yours)...........on top of your on field meltdowns and headbutting. Maybe those boundaries helped you get back on track, and just maybe the flexibility we granted you throughout your rehabilitation period was a catalyst for you to be in the position you're in now.
Maybe you'll end up like Stengle who pretty much said the same thing about Geelong, albeit before he either had his drinks spiked out of retribution for being a dickhead or ****ed himself up on ketamine at a Geelong night spot......maybe you'll get to end up on sexual assault charges. The sky's the limit mate.
People pump Geelong up as if they peel off premiership after premiership. I'd argue with their home ground advantage, structure of talls back and forward, midfield quality and polish on the outside that they should have played in more GFs than they have and that Scott should be boasting of more than two premierships in fifteen years........
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
The other thing that shit me last night was the inconsistency in the ‘no 15’ rule. Seemed like every short kick we did was play on and heaped pressure on us, whereas Geelong were allowed to chip it around all night. Pricks.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Yeah, there was one to Kennedy that was a narrow diagonal that covered a fair chunk of the front half of the centre square from outside of it, and called play on and holding the ball. Maybe it wasn't the required distance but there were plenty more that seemed like they travelled less.
I just ****en hate the ****s and every advantage they get, time and time again.

Geelong Fans, players, and coaches are all in the honeymoon phase with Baz. I don’t think there’s anything more certain than him crashing over the next 12 to 18 months.

He's going to wear thin at some stage. All the head line grabbing is acceptable when the team is winning but if they slump he'd better be able to roll back and work with his team mates.

My harshest assessment, that I sat on all week was this:
A drug addled, star footballer full of charisma and loved by the media. All he has to do is engage in risky behaviour leading to the death of a vulnerable young woman and maybe they’ll make a stand after him down there.
Obviously in poor taste but I feel like giving Geelong a whack.

Yeah i feel ya dude , but thats sailing very close to the wind , id personally perfere if we kept accusation about drugs and other conspiracy theories out of WOOF, and try to keep woof a sauce of positive reading and banter .
Not my intention to attack you in any way SonofScary , just lets not fall into the trap of some other forums out there that encourage this sort of banter .
Excellent pick-up BAD. Puts the conjecture to bed. We were dudded.
But so be it, let’s move on now because there were other things that went wrong that cost us more . Such as goal kicking accuracy, the defensive skills of our half- back flankers and the absence of a lock-down KPD. All addressable by our coaches.

With the KPDs, I was more concerned with the ease in which the forwards were fed the ball from up the ground giving them lots of opportunities to kick goals. The Defenders were under huge pressure and it is always hard to defend when the ball is coming in so often - this was particularly in that second quarter debarcle.
