          You might need to dig a little deeper to get there.
          I have had JJ in my team, almost every week.
          Right now, for this game Vs GWS, I dont have him in the first 7 defenders, that's all.

            Toby Greene has accepted his one match ban.

            Their gun #2 defender Jack Buckley is also out and so is Josh Kelly.
            More of an In Bruges guy?

              Toby Green and Buckley out is a big bonus for us , but the same thing happened playing Hawthorne , Day and Watson out and we didnt take advantage we let them get away and couldnt catch them in the end .
              We cant let that happen again , it looked like they were down at half time to the Swans friday night but they came back roaring with an emphatic win .
              So we have to start well and keep going .

                We made a mistake dropping Jones and brining in Buss, where to now? I'm a fan of a small ball lineup but if we wanted to give Buss games it should have been during the period when he was out injured.

                Considering the games ahead, playing Buss in a key role is just suicide particularly if Lobb is now the back up ruck.

                In Jones Harmes
                Out Buss VDM( hasn't touched it since signing and couldn't get near it when coming on against a VFL side)

                Im tempted to bring in Doc for Poulter also but just have a feeling Doc needs a spell. Cant wait to see him after another preseason.

                There is a lot to like in the VFL Dolan Hynes Jaques and even Arty looked good just wish we had some more defensive talent on the list its as bare as you can get.

                Selwood has something but yeah I wouldn't be bringing him in for the biggest game of the year so far.

                  Not to sure why some are calling for Busslinga to be dropped sure he didnt set the world on fire but ,he needs a chance and dropping him after one game again is harsh .
                  INS ;
                  Harmes , Sellwood , Khamis .
                  OUTS ;
                  McNeil , Vandermeer , Baker .

                    What role is Khamis playing?

                    You’ve dropped three runners when the Giants game plan is run and gun.

                      I paid attention to McNeil and his gut running in the front half to close down exits was foundation to our front half retention game and was involved in a number of positive plays which likely don’t reflect much or at all on the stats sheet. I get it’s cool to bag him and I wish he’d get on the end of one and be more involved, but dropping him seems counter intuitive to what we’re trying to do given our remaining mix.

                      I’d be tempted to go no change this week with the short turnaround.
                      Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

                        It's all good and well to run around and create solid/good pressure against a woeful team, but we don't get that luxury this week and we will need him to be more of an attacking threat... which we know is a struggle for him.

                        But as we've seen through the year besides Harmes, we don't really have replacements that give us anything that McNeil doesn't.

                          I watched the replay and can't see anything Buss did wrong in his 2nd full game.

                          My only change is Harmes in and McNeil or VDM out. If Libba is injured, we need to find a replacement which could be Davidson with Sanders playing more midfield time.

                            Busslinger was caught on the hop a couple of times. Agree though, not sure he should be dropped.
                            He seriously needs to have a Thilthorpe transformation physique wise over pre season. He is so bloody skinny.

                              I'm still chewing my cud on selection but I want us to win this game convincingly more than any other game so far this year.
