Good start but faded in the last part of the quarter. Liking Cleary’s game although he won’t get that time against better teams - needs to make quicker decisions. Richard’s having a field day

Usually our red time goals are mostly ball use/decision making but after JJ lost his 1 on 1 Fridge was nearly walking through the middle. Could have numbered off the first time and then could have impacted if he was really pushing.

It’s been a common trait for Joel over the past month… he needs a wake up call.

When Bevo left the coaches box early I said to my husband he doesn’t want to see the goal we give up in the last minute

Nah it’s coached into us , red time goals are something we have mastered.
It’s part of the finals plan if we made it .
how it works I have no idea but it’s been in our game for over two years

Who thinks we are playing a little too pretty , an arrogance about it I don’t like it.

I don’t like in the ease Ess are coming out of defence.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Yep - West a major candidate for that. Sanders got caught in the first quarter trying to do too much.

JJ looks cooked. Poor kick, then gave away a silly 50m penalty

Cleary really getting involved, good signs.

West has been rubbish. Arrogant and selfish.

Two big marks by Sanders now. And almost a third a few minutes earlier

I must say Sanders hands have been great tonight . Seems to show something different that you can see he has everything to be an extremely good player in all aspects.

I'd love to see how Buss plays with 20 games under his belt. A real second effort player, keeps involved in the contest. For all his flaws, it's a real plus to his game.

Even Essendon get easy breakouts and run through the middle . The fact they can’t kick straight is making our score look a lot better than it is , imagine what the lions or Adelaide would do to the bombers .

I wonder if his inclusion late in the season means he'll be in for the remainder. Jones would have to find form in the twos to replace him.
