The saga with JUH has been going on since mid-last year when he was hanging around with the wrong people and drinking too much (amongst other things). Charlie Clarke was asked to keep away from JUH and he then moved in with Treloar to try and get him on the straight and narrow. Of course he was delisted by yerar end, but his parents looked after him through various means and had their full support and he is currently on the straight and narrow.

As for JUH, what we can see is that he doesn't seem to want to let go of his dodgy mates and is happy to take the dollars and live the high life - he has probably pissed it down the drain. The club has looked after him since he was 15, and given him every chance to make something of his life. He has gone to the best school in Melbourne, given a high salary, and given all the support from both the club and the AFL, yet we see no change in his behaviour.

It is time he looks after himself and takes some responsibility for his actions as there is only so much help one can get from other people.

I am pissed off that we get the number one draft pick and end up in this situation.

That’s kind of contradictory , nothing to say he won’t be at the dogs next year but they will look for a trade ? Well that tells me there is something to say he won’t be at the dogs next year .

I didn't say he was the victim, but I did say he was told not to hang around with Marra and his mates. No doubt he was also involved. My side of the story comes from his Auntie who no doubt is protecting him as the club is protecting JUH with comments to you. After some rehabilitation, Clarke is playing footy, JUH is still up to his old tricks.

He's a good argument against drafting high-end talent for needs instead of best available. He was definitely a needs-based selection which plainly didn't work.

To be fair, we've smashed quite a few picks out of the park in the last 10-15 years - we're probably top 8 overall for drafting success in that time.
