It's been 9 years! I've been waiting so long! And for Taylor to lose it is the cherry on the cake for me!

I’d hire him from that if I was them, maybe bump the offer too. Harry’s retirement covers the wage. They can rest Gaz & Danger more. I can see why they want the player we/they saw tonight for ‘allegedly’ more and longer than we are offering.

My 8 year old son told me at the beginning of the year he would like to see the Bulldogs play at Etihad. Trying to encourage his “Bulldog-ness”, I set about making plans to get him to his first game at Etihad. Plane tickets, Accommodation, Tickets to the game ... lots of organising but God Damn it was worth every cent. What a game to be your first at Etihad ... Woo Hoooooo!!!!!

Is Gowers the new Liam Picken? No frills contested brute lacking a little polish good in the air, can kick goals playing forward mid?

Can Gowers get rising star nomination?

I’m thrilled. It was my birthday, you know!!! And seeing I once watched us lose to Melbourne when they were diabolically bad ON MY BIRTHDAY, I’m extra thrilled.

The boys really worked enormously hard tonight. Special kudos to Tom Boyd. His contested work was mighty. Maybe there should be another twaddle article about him and his contract every week.

And to break that Geelong hoodoo was sweet indeed. (Did I miss a memo from AFL house that said DAngerfield can never ever be pinged for holding the ball?)

Yeah, my grandpop played for them so I’ve always had a soft spot while some members of my family are true to Carlton, but Jesus, they as a club (and supporter base) can’t get their heads around how the modern game works.

Reflecting on tonight, we were well coached and always had answers across the ground throughout and our youth development is well ahead of where I thought it could be.

A lot to think about and reassessments to be made on the back of this fortnight. I watched a game with a Melbourne supporter whose opinion I respect tonight, and she thought we looked well organised, competitive, skilled and at the bottom of our trajectory.
                      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

                        WHAT A WIN!!

So nervous again in the end but this week it went our way.

A Bulldog classic! One of our best! Finally we did it!

A great 4 quarter effort tonight from the team.

I was jumping up and down at the ground like most of us were when he missed

Looking forward now to next Saturday.

                        GO THE MIGHTY BULLDOGS!!

How was that brutal tackle in the last 20 seconds when they came out of the centre. I thought Billy nearly put the Geelong player into the car park below.

For the first time this year I want to watch the replay.

That goes down as a bulldog classic. That's one of my favorite H&A wins of all time. Harry was cream on the cake.

But a week really is a long time in footy because last Saturday night was the most soul destroying loss we've had in a long time.
