If I was in earshot of that my brother, I would be calling security straight away on your behalf. To save someone else the bother.
Swearing like that around kids is not allowed at games. Racist comments are not allowed.
I love the fact things have improved in that regard at AFL. People who give racist lip are kicked out. People who start fights are arrested.
I love the fact I barrack for a club where there is little of that. Fight incidents seem always to be started by Richmond, Collingwood or Essendon supporters in my experience.

I mean swearing isn't flash and it's definitely unsavoury, but it's easy enough to explain to kids. It's when it turns into bigotry and has sexuality, race and gender denigration where it becomes difficult.

The racists should have been reported and escorted from the ground. Angelo, you did a wonderful job in maintaining your grace and dignity, as did those you were watching the game with. I'm sorry this stuff still exists.
