Don’t know. His comments were just about opportunities to play senior footy. You’d think he’d have some interest from other clubs since he did have last year, but he sounds happy enough from his comments.

Well we have pretty much bought him up like an adopted family I wouldn’t imagine him going anywhere unless we don’t want him.

Happy enough with this although I think he is a better forward than backman but we'll see what another pre season with the backs can produce.

I know he has flaws but he's still only 24 and showed significant improvement this year. I admire his loyalty and happy to have him on the list.

Perhaps a touch generous but he made some progress this year so hopefully he can keep improving.

Good news. I don't think there's much between him and JOD so between them we can eek out a year of good footy.

Hopefully some healthy competition between Buku, JOD and Buss next year. With Keath expected to depart losing Khamis would have left us too thin at the back unless there was a replacement lined up.

Buku has shown enough that he deserves the spot on the list. Can play a number of roles. While he may not yet be a first choice player, the growth in his game over the past 12 months bodes well. His intercept ability a highlight. He needs to work on his positioning and body work.

I would’ve thought 12 months would be the go. But I’ve thought that many times each year when we are giving out contracts. Nonetheless I hope he improves next year and the year after.

Agree, at 24 years old he is also a late starter not having played footy as a youngster, so still learning the game.

Here we go again. shouldve been 1 year at most. Why do we keep doing this ?
Maybe we just expect him to break out of the clouds and be the next Mac Andrew?
