Exactly....Before Jamarra, my son was all about Naughton...he wanted his number as his club guernsey for his under 8's team.
I'd say to him Naughts is exciting, but what about Bont??? 'Yeah he's good too'
So now JUH is here, as you say Bont and Naughts, officially chopped liver...

My kids are all over Weightman. Weightman this, Weightman that.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

My 10 year old is definitely a big fan of 'The flea!' as well.....but was pretty happy with Jamarra on the weekend.

As a matter of interest in his debut Kelvin Templeton had 10 kicks 1 handball and kicked 6.3 in a loss.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I’m still Pat Veszpremi kicking it to Andrew McDougall because I have a very good imagination.

When I look in the mirror, I see Trent Bartlett.

I understand that when TwoDogs does that, he sees Ben Harrison.

I remember that. He was killing it in the reserves that year but the dogs insisted on playing Sandilands at full forward each week.

I notice he didn't play the following week. Do you recall him getting injured or suspended for round 4.....before returning in round 5 and kicking 5 behinds in his second game (in a win!)

I have no idea why he missed the following week. I'll ask around and see if I can find out why.

Yep me too. He was the player I pretended to be kicking the footy around the backyard. And the hallway. And the park. Everywhere really. I still do.

One day at training they got about five of us kids watching to grab a footy each, stand in a semi circle and fire handballs at him, it was just about the pinnacle of my life to that stage. I managed to hit him up just fine with the first couple and then I went a bit early and falconed him with the third. I'll never forget the feeling of horror as the ball bounced off his head!

My goodness when I was in the almighty KT's presence I could barely move I was that awestruck.

He was lining up for goal in the forward pocket of the Hickey Stand end at Kardinia Park must have been 1980 perhaps 81 and he was right on the fence 40 metres out and boy were the ferals getting stuck into him. I remember just looking at him he was just such a huge presence, massive legs and that strange hunched over powerful physique, almost a leaner G Ablett Snr build.

I was barely 5 metres from him yelled out 'You can do it Templeton'. It's all I could think of saying. He slotted it. I was right behind it and it was the straightest kick I've ever seen. Straight through the middle spinning fast it did not deviate in any way. He ran back to CHF and gave a thumbs up behind him. I knew who it was for and there was no better day for me from that day until the day my kids were born.

Yep. I could have told anyone who care to ask me beforehand that it was going to happen but I went ahead thinking that it would be something that I could tell my kids about. Funnily enough I have never told my kids about it.
