In fairness Dale copped a knee into the ribs/ back which you could see left him motionless and then Rich is pinning the ball under Dale. I know the onus is on the player to knock it out, but given the circumstances I can see why it wasn't paid.

Another good Al's Highlights compilation here.

Keep an eye on Tim English with 20 seconds to go. He is next to Roarke Smith when he takes the mark, sprints head down 50m to be the next contest - if he hadn't done that, every chance there is an uncontested Brisbane mark as he is the only Bulldogs player to get hands to the ball.

I shouldn’t have watched this- my heart rate is off the charts and the nerves for Saturday have kicked in.

Side note: In almost every clip somebody audibly groaned about the clear block being played to English (with someone even commenting “you can’t pay that” in one of the calls), yet only one commentator (BT no less) mentioned the super blatant missed in the back free kick to VDM after he scores the point.

Daniel's kick with 30 to go that's marked by Rourke was either complete genius or complete luck.....

I'll go genius for consistency's sake.

Looking at that the kick from Caleb to Roarke was absolutely where he intended it to go.

Yeah Daniel saw Roarke and pulled it so that it didn't go above chest height. You can tell because Daniel looked inbound before kicking it.

Absolutely screws his leg around to make the kick rather than a big one down the line. 100% intentional it was not a shank.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
