At 208cm, Darcy became the tallest player in VFL/AFL history to kick at least six goals in a game, eclipsing the previous record set by former Essendon and Hawthorn champion Paul Salmon (205cm).

Agree. Luke is quite outspoken and one can be sure if he wasn’t satisfied with the club‘s direction then this would influence Sam‘s decision. Great news in the lead up to Xmas. Now just awaiting Bont‘s extension.

Fantastic news. Behind the Bont I feel like Sam is the most important player at the club due to potential.

Never in doubt that he would stay but the length of contract is great...could be a couple of years at the end of that where he is getting unders for what he is delivering on field.
