Whoever plays on Fritsch should let him know he is in a game of football from the off - Steve Kretiuk/Steve Wallis style. Nothing sly, nothing dirty but just play him close.

Good suggestion as he has the aerial ability.

I think Williams is generally very good in the air, often spoils larger opponents and Fritsch is about the same size.

You'd think with Doc to come back in, Crozier would miss. Who knows though. Horses for courses he might be the right guy to play against the Dees.

Hard to fit in Caleb, Williams, Crozier, Duryea, Keath, Gardner, Cordy, Schache, Richards

He's probably the last player I'd pick to play on Fritsch.

I have Crozier as emergency depth and nowhere near our best 22-24.

Who is the best match for Fritsch? I just don't think Williams is up to the task, so I don't know who can go with him.

It has to be out of our mids/smalls as I expect whichever 3 of Keath/Gardner/Schache/O'Brien play will go to T-Mac, Ben Brown and Luke Jackson/Max Gawn (whoever rests there) respectively.

Doc to Pickett as much as possible means it's Dale or Truck. Perhaps Dale's go-go-gadget arms mean he gets the first crack?

Just looked back at Round 19 last year and Cordy started on him but when Keath went down we had to readjust and Cordy went to Brown (not a good match up), so Williams took Fritz.

I haven't looked at GF and won't be - it is erased out of my head.

I'd think about trying to test Fritsch out the other way with somebody like Ed Richards, who is very good 1-v-1 and but can also then spread quickly.

Williams is the logical choice though.

Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I'd play Bedendo on Fritsch just to see who has higher hair!!

Could Richards play on Kozzie, then Duryea on Fritsch? I'm much more worried about Fritsch kicking 5 goals than I am about Pickett.

Too big and strong in the air for Doc I would think.
