If he hasn't played a pre season game I'd say no chance.

Played half the Essendon game. Just cannot fathom a scenario where we pick Crozier and don't pick Duryea.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

That’s my thoughts also. Big loss.

He is in the leadership group and (for me) is still our best lockdown small defender. He's a best 22 lock to me.
O'Brien and Bailey Dale's emergence as a defender may be the death knell for Crozier's career. A shame as he was outstanding for us for a couple of years and seems a really good guy. Footy is brutal.

Can Crozier go back to the forward line?

Kinda weird how your phone auto corrects "Freo" to "the forward line".

I like Croz. I was surprised at how courageous he was and he was a great addition to our team, but he dropped so far off last year that I'm not sure he can add anything anymore.

I'd love to be proven wrong, he seems a good fella. But sometimes you gotta call it as you see it.

He hasn't hit true Shane Biggs drop off levels but he has gone from being one of our best defenders to one of our worst.

Don't disagree with anything you've said there... the game (and our playing style) moved passed him extremely quickly and he was left behind.

A little disappointing that he's in the frame for Rd.1 based on team from last week given how far he appeared off the pace last year, but I guess Bevo knows best.

Has he ever cemented a spot there? He's played pretty well there for a few weeks at Freo, but he was brought to us as a forward then only really cemented his best 22 spot behind the ball.
I'm not sure he can TBH.

I think he let that (courage in the air) take over his game.

It got to the point where he was flying for the footy when it clearly wasn't his turn to go - leaving his opponent unattended. If he can get back to playing first principles footy I think he'll be fine.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I am not sure how good he would be playing forward.
