Unlikely - not sure I’m ready for 85k! Not sure I’m ready for footy to be completely honest, losing that GF the way we did has me a bit spooked.
        I’m sure I’ll come around.

        Anyone else feeling the same?

I'm not really excited by the start of footy this year, might be because other priorities have taken over but usually I'd be itching for R1.

Just can’t get excited for it yet.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I'm up for it and will be attending.

I have vacillated between real concern about how we will come up and very bullish about winning the lot.

              Practice matches haven't helped.

Interestingly I can recall after we won the flag in 2016 no one was up for the early part of 2017.
Perhaps there is a GF hangover for supporters.

Mind you some Melbourne supporting colleagues are right up for it.

I'm pretty fatigued still from last year, and watching on tv again with all the pitfalls that brings does not excite me. Also don't like the idea of getting done by Melbourne first up.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

I’m up and getting upper… erm… you know what I mean.

I reckon if we get rolled big time, that’ll stop the membership drive dead… if we have a win, well… 50k no prob! There’s certainly a innate doubt that we can perform again. But I reckon we can and will!

Looking forward to it. I don't expect to win but I am hopeful. If I only attended when I thought we would win I wouldn't have seen much of us over certain seasons.

I don't like watching on TV every week, I find I get more frustrated at home, need to get to games regularly. The only thing that tempers my enthusiasm somewhat is the Wednesday night, shocking scheduling when travelling in from the country.

If it gets to 85k would be maybe the biggest crowd anywhere for the year?
I know the MLS (US Soccer) had 75k at Charlotte for their first ever home game which was reportly the 3rd biggest of the year (can't validate yet).

Some trepidation. And the fact that we STILL don't have a ruckman continues to concern me.

But I'll probably have the lid off at first bounce.

It will be our biggest Home and away crowd ever

I'm somewhat doubtful there will be 85,000, but since our previous high is only 68,000 the record should be broken.
