What we really need is a Shai Bolton type player, who can player in the midfield, have a few runs on the wing, and rest forward and terrify opposition players. I wonder if Cody can have a bit of midfield time?

He was given some opportunities to play midfield in the intra-clubs to keep him involved in the game.
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Yes we need a player who is top 10 in the AFL, super speedy and can play forward or mid incredibly dangerously.
Cody is probably as close as we get in the forward line. But a fair ways off. We’re crying out for speed in the middle, but not sure that is on our list currently

My problem with Hannan is the inconsistency. He is so unreliable.

A classic win at the G in the rain. 2nd quarter was disappointing letting the Tigers back.

Massive contributions. Dale was simply fantastic in difficult conditions.

The problem with Jones was he never positioned himself there. He clearly has some talent but he has to go back and develop it. Today was perfect for the player he will become but he is not ready to contribute enough.

Strong defence in the second half to restrict Richmond to 2 goals after a lapse in the 2nd quarter. Got back into the game with shear hard work, winning contested possession, and believing we can win this game.

If ever there was a victory that was marinated in irony this was it. The two most maligned players of the last couple of seasons kicked vital goals when they were sorely needed - one the result of a very fortunate free kick - after all their previous involvements had failed to bear fruit.

I thought funnily enough, that both coaches coached well today. Richmond went in with an unconventional plan for the conditions but suited to their personnel and almost pulled it off. We knew how to adjust to things in the second half after it got off the chain, also knowing when to pull the lever of having Caleb behind the footy.
