That win should build BELIEF. We did it the HARD way, with true guts. I'm too exhausted to process how we did it other than to say we showed TRUE BULLDOG SPIRIT. Well done Dogs. That was a huge turnaround after half time. We were a five goal better side if we had taken our ops.

I was almost confident with the last 2 minutes how we were locking the ball down to bounces and not giving away any dumb frees, then with 33 seconds to go the Shai bolton goal, once again shocked my belief.

That won does not fill me with confidence. It’s covering over the same problems - bad defence on transition, 10m brain fades and poor midfield-forward line connection. Still just bobbing it to a pack mark on naughton.

Yes there are issues but gee enjoy the win over a bloody good team where we haven’t beaten them since 2015.

I hope we stick with him. I have a feeling his one player who will get better with more games under his belt. I want to see him unlock that electric talent and shine on the big stage.

agreed. He?s going to be the small forward we need. Loads of good signs tonight. Frustrating how in forward 50 stoppages at wide angles he kept winding up on the fat side with Hannan on the skinny side doing nothing.

jones just needs confidence.

Agree, a win is a win though so you take that. There are some positives to work with today. I thought our forward line was OK considering the conditions. Lobb looked more at home and thought he played quite well.

He was pretty good apart from the muffed goal. It was like soap the ball so I'm giving him an excuse.

That was a gutsy win, great for the team to figure its way through it especially given our injury concerns and their impact on rotations.

What we saw in the second quarter was unacceptable though, and we can't allow that sort of thing to keep happening.
