Really disappointing considering some attendances at previous games. We want the spotlight games but we aren't necessarily getting our members coming to those games.

Yet 23K is the Bulldogs' HIGHEST ever attendance figure against Port at Docklands Stadium. Port supporters don't travel in large numbers, and many fans go away for the long weekend.

There isn't much enjoyment watching the Bulldog brand of football at the moment either. Move the ball slowly around the boundary and then kick long to a huge pack in the forward line hoping Marra or Astro will take mark of the century. Then watch the oppo win the crumb and go straight down the middle to an open forward line with a combination of Keath, Gardner, O'Brien, Bruce, Jones or O'Donnell looking like deer in the headlights as we concede yet another easy goal. Rinse and repeat.

And when the miracle mark is taken by Marra or Astro - increase the margin by a point because our conversion in front of goal is historically bad.

In context it?s actually the biggest Dogs vs Power crowd at Marvel. Surpasses 22,691 in 2007.
