            Good to see one of ours get the nod. You would think it is only a matter of time before the Colonel gets a nomination and hopefully Sam Darcy gets some continuity as I believe he may still fit the criteria.

                    Happens more often than you might expect - in the past 10 years:
                    2021 Luke Jackson - R7
                    2020 Caleb Serong - R8
                    2016 Callum Mills - R16
                    2015 Jesse Hogan - R9
                    2014 Lewis Taylor - R9 (The real winner Bont - R13)

                                        Darcy would have to be a good shout to get a rising star nom this week.

                                        Honestly think he could kick 40 and win the award.
