Liked the bodywork from Khamis to outmuscle and outposition Mitch Lewis (who I rate very highly).

    How strong is the wind?

We've hit the rinse & repeat button... just find ways to cough up a big lead don't we?

Bringing the ball offensive side when getting scored against heavily is a shit idea.

I'm not sure a team missing half of our starting lineup is the one we want to necessarily hold up for scrutiny as evidence we've improved in this area. So many guys who are not in our best 22 out there right now, we're invariably going to see some gaps.

Well that's my uneducated take at this stage.

It doesn't look to me as if the second one is on. In two hours time Foxtel is showing a different team's practice match. Not sure if that extends to Kayo too though.

Watched some of the 2nd quarter. Hawks have LOTS of space.

Lots of space in our backline for Hawks forwards.

Just left the ground. The breeze was massive and is only getting stronger.

If we offered Sanders a Naughton like contract I’d be all for it.

All we can go is what is front of us at our 1st proper look for 2024, and yep lots of players missing (for both teams), but we controlled the game in quarter 1, but as we've seen lots of over the past 2 years the basic skills errors & lack of structure for the 1st 20min of quarter 2 meant we gave up 5 goals pretty quickly.

The wind is strong though so it might just be that.

It sure to make it what I am seeing other than I am excited for Sanders and pleased with Darcy?s movement around the ground.

While we will still win the flag, I think we are in for a boring season. Pedestrian footy, runs of goals against. It?s going to be the worst premiership year I?ve ever had.
