A strong performance in poor conditions, with poor conversion making the task more difficult.

A resilient effort through adversity with good contribution across the team, but again a story of missed opportunity.

Just disappointing he still sees himself as a Collingwood player.

Is that tongue in cheek or serious?

I don't think that is the case at all. I listen to him a bit.

Listen to his interview on Saturday morning on Crunch Time https://open.spotify.com/episode/1lC...9dcf7da2cb4e1b

He is great for our club on and off the field. Love his passion, authenticity and you can only admire his overall preparation and professionalism.

I'm declaring myself Adam's number one defender and supporter. If you want to have a go at him, you have to through me first. Ha.

It's extremely tongue in cheek because it seemed to be a recurrent theme among some here and in the footballing public at large that that was how he saw himself.

To me he's been bought in from the get go and is a Bulldogs man through and through. I'm sure he still loves the pies, and that's fine. But he's ours and plays his heart out for us.

He has never been AA or won a B and F. I would LOVE him to tick both of those off this year.

He's a Bulldog. Think the bromance ending is the making of his bulldogness.

Edit : 79 games for GWS, 94 for Pies, 70 for us.

He will end up with over a 100 for dogs fingers crossed and father / child rule applies.

A brilliant finish after being shell shocked at the start. The team is starting to show some steel in their performance.
We had 29 WOOFers contribute votes, but this week was concentrated on 4 players.

Captain Magnificent, Marcus Bontempelli (114 of possible 116) led the way with a match winning performance. Midfield partner Adam Treloar (81) continued his brilliant form and is surely a serious contender for All Australian at this point in the season. Third position was Sam Darcy (40) making up for a difficult start with a superb effort. The minor prize went to Bailey Dale (37) also maintaining his brilliant run of form. The others were headed by Jack Macrae (6), Liam Jones (5), Lachie McNeill (4), Tim English (2) and Riley Garcia with a single vote.

                    Leaderboard

                    24 – Treloar, Bontempelli
                    11 – Jones, Dale
                    7 – Liberatore, Naughton
                    6 – Richards, Darcy

Bontempelli rejoins the lead as Dale moves to a share of 3rd and Sam Darcy moves up.

Treloar wowee - I noticed he wasn't even mentioned in the AFL website AA half way side. Idiots!

Darcy on 6 is awesome. He's the best of the young brigade.

A very underpar performance against a refreshed opposition.
We only had 15 WOOFers contribute votes our lowest participation of the season. The difficulty of awarding votes was highlighted with the concentration on 3 main players.
Leading the votes was Adam Treloar (42 of possible 60) narrowly from Bailey Williams (40) and Bontempelli (36). What a performance. Really a statement of intent from the playing group with lots of on field contributors including several playing the best games of their season or career.

We had 30 WOOFers contribute votes with a big spread in the voting amongst the players. This was the tightest contest for the minor votes that I have ever seen.

Of course the top votes went to HIM. Bontempelli (118 of possible 120) almost universally considered BOG. The rest were led by Bailey Dale (38), Adam Treloar (36) and career best Lachie Bramble (33). Very close was Liberatore (31), career best Rhylee West (23) and certainly best of the season Rory Lobb (14). Others to score votes were Tim English (4) and Ed Richards (3).

                              Leaderboard
                              30 – Treloar, Bontempelli
                              14 – Dale
                              11 – Jones

Despite never being really threatened it was an uninspiring victory with plenty of missed opportunity.
We had 23 WOOFers contribute votes with 9 players featuring.

Top votes again to Bontempelli (91 of possible 92) almost universally considered BOG. The key defenders headed the others with Liam Jones (55) from Rory Lobb (38) in his own Liam Jones transformation. The minor vote went to Bailey Williams (24) maintaining consistent form. Ed Richards (7), Cody Weightman (6), Adam Treloar (4), Tom Liberatore (3) and Bailey Dale (2) were the other players recognised.

                                Leaderboard

                                34 - Bontempelli
