On track to break the all time record I think. Have we released the $1 memberships yet ?

Did everyone get the text straight after the game last night ?
I was a bit confused because I’m already a social member so do I need to pay up ?

I got it too and I am also in the Social Club. I am guessing it went out to everyone on their database. They are just trying to sell more social club memberships.

The club still holds out they can get 65K members. I think there will be a big push next week to close the gap between 61K and 65K

Conundrum ... On the 7th May I ordered online from the Bulldogs Shop. The 100-year beanie, the 100 year book, the indigenous polo and the 100-year bottle opener. I rang the shop after placing my order to clarify something that came up on the app afterwards and was told that my order would be held out the back until all items could be fulfilled.

I rang a couple of weeks later as I hadn't received my order. I was told then the book release was delayed, and I had to wait until the book arrived before my order could be shipped. I asked if I could pay for postage twice (get the beanie/shirt etc straight away and wait for the book); but was told i they couldn't split the order. I told them the beanie and shirt were for a birthday present, and the birthday was the next week. They apologised and said it did say that orders would be held until the book arrived ... I never saw that in any of the communications, but hey. The guy promised me the order was out the back and being held until the book arrived.

I rang again 4 weeks later and was told the book had just arrived, the lady I spoke to said she would ask the manager if they could express post my order to WA as I had been waiting a while. After another week and a half, I rang for the fourth time to be told that the beanie was sold out and that I could have a 100-year baseball cap instead. I asked how this was possible when I was guaranteed that my order was being held. The answer was it was a computer issue, and they oversold the beanie. I told them again that it was a birthday present and the only thing my son wanted from the 100 year range. She said she would get the shop manager to ring. The shop manager rang me and also offered the 100 year cap. Told me it was beyond her control, and they would have to order 500 more to fulfill my order. She apologised a number of times. I asked how many beanies were oversold ... one ... mine. I asked who I can speak to above the store manager to complain (full Karen) and she advised there is no one above her.

My son is extremely disappointed (understandably), but I'm unsure what to do next. I have spoken to the manager of Membership, and he apologised profusely but also doesn't have a solution. Do you guys have any idea who I should speak with next or what else to do?

(thank you for listening to my news )

That absolutely stinks. I would try and find out who the store manager reports to. There must be an org chart somewhere, or a way to find out.

That’s horrible service Scraggers. Sounds like they are driven by the computer system rather than offer a bit of personal customer service.

Perhaps send an email to club with subject line addressed to Ameet Bains?

BTW Scraggers, I also ordered the 100 year book. It arrived a week ago but was in a courier satchel with no padding so the spine was damaged. I tried to ring them but had no answer, so I sent an email. They wanted a photo of the damage which I sent straight away. Haven't heard from them since, despite three emails asking for an update..

My next move is I will go down there when I get the chance.

Horrible experience Scraggers, and similarly yours too BAD. We seem to still not be good at the fulfilment side of things. We seem very committed to growth, but I'm hoping there's not loads more like you both out there along the way, otherwise 65K won't be meaningful if many of those have had a net negative experience and don't come back.
I hope the club hears you both on this.

I finally got on to them and they apologised for not responding - still pretty bad customer service. Apparently, their fulfilment sent out a whole lot of books and they were not packaged properly and they have to be replaced due to damage.

I'm not going if we have to play the Crows again!
