He played 24 games in a team that made the finals. He was top 10 in the B&F. You need coverage for Libba and Treloar who are the wrong side of 30.

I don't get the angst RE Kennedy.

I'm devastated to see Jack go, but he's not a half forward/ mid, he's a true insider and distributor (and is paid accordinly). Kennedy can kick a goal in that role, and is paid accordingly.

I suspect that if Macrae and Daniel had retired rather than being traded bringing Kennedy in might have been a bit more positively received. Lets hope he makes this work.

Pick 25 for Daniel makes it all somewhat palatable.

Well not just that... it does feel off losing Macrae and Daniel and instead of focusing more on Sanders, Garcia, Gallager, with Harmes as backup from our HD non-approved trade last year we've brought in a similar 'I want to play middle more but am not quite good enough' type.

How has Power folded on Macrae? He's under contract. We could've kept him if we really wanted. Power obviously weighed up the salary vs the pick and decided the salary was more important.

Saints said pretty much all along we will give you 47..we said no way?and we drag it out to get 45 after 9 days or whatever?should?ve just done 47 on day 1 and be done with it. It shits me when we just waste time.

And just like dunks we lost on the smith trade as we always was going to. Geel had ZERO intention of bettering their pick 17. We was always going to accept it?and just like the dunk deal, we lost that deal.
