Selwood too high at 6 and so is Heath Shaw, I would be hard pressed to get Shaw in under 40 and Franklin in the top 50 this year is negligible. I thought Picken had a better year than Franklin. As above I thought Lake should have gone top 10. Fevola should be somewhere where Lake is currently placed.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Yeah - but Fevola kicked 89 goals this year and 99 last. He should be in the top 3-5 players listed...he is a difference maker.

Corey Enright at 8? Give it a rest - good player, good season...but when did he actually play on someone (you could say the same thing for Scarlett in some ways). Did Chapman really have a better year/more impact than Montagna? Or even Vince from Adelaide...

The names themselves are fine, but usual story - what is the criteria for the rating?
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

11 out of the top 16 players are from Geelong and St. Kilda.

Agree. That one was very odd. Had a solid year as a stopper but Andrew Swallow would've been a much better choice.

We did ok if the Cats and Saints have twice as many top 50 players as us

What else can we expect from Sheahan?

He is the type of guy that thinks only 1 or 2 players from a bottom placed side would made the top side's best 22, a notion I find very inane. He would think that the premiers should have at least half of the AA team. In reality, if the top sides were as far ahead as he states, they would be winning by 15 goals a week.

If Corey Enright, Andrew Mackie, Joel Corey and Clinton Jones played for sides that missed out on the finals, they would be nowhere near their rankings. He is so into making a statement, with the top 4 being Cat, Saint, Cat and Saint.

                    Rioli at 31??

I must have been watching a different game this year.

He is the biggest footy media darling going around by a long shot. Can you imagine what will happen if he actually has an elite season? I think he would end up with his own daily liftout in the Hun.

Totally agree although the Coreys' are class players, in a different league to Jones and believe they probably do sit in the top 25 regardless of which team they're in. Personally I couldn't separate Hargrave's year with Mackie's.

I think Enright and Corey are guns but there are a lot of guns. They do deserve to be up thereabouts but I think Mike (and most of the media) exaggerates the difference between the best and rest a bit too much. Guns at the lower placed sides cop lots more attention from the opposition.

yes the same bloke who had Collingwood as premiers 3 weeks before the finals
Clinton Jones in the top 50 Pleeeeease.

If Clinton Jones was exactly the same product but played for a side that didn't dominate, he would not be in Mike's top 150.

Mike would be appalled at the lack of Cats and Saints players in the AA team,

Mike's list looks to have been plagiarised from the hurried effort of a 13 year old on school holidays who posted on the Geelong BF Board. Seriously poor effort Sheahan.
