Re: Sheahan's Top 50
As someone who doesn't pay much attention to opposition teams, what sort of player is Nick Maxwell? He's at 38. And is Mitch Clark THAT good? (24)Our club was born in blood and boots, not in AFL focus groups.Comment

Re: Sheahan's Top 50
Scarlett + Judd too high in those top few IMO.
Judd is always guaranteed a Top 5 spot but he hasn't been near his best since 2006. Still a very gifted player, but he's not Top 5.
I'd have a number of players before Scarlett, too. He's a great player and very good again this season, but I don't think he was that good.
Still - a fairly good effort by Mike. It's not easy. Well done to Boyd too - climbing the ladder year by year.W00F!Comment

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.Comment

Re: Sheahan's Top 50
Can't see how on this season Scarlett can be #3 and Brian Lake can be #18?
You can mount an argument that Scarlett had a better season, but not by that type of gap.
Lake is the better mark, in particular from opposition kicks. Scarlett is a better re-bounder. Lake closed the gap this year.Comment
