Oskar Baker had 5 years at Melbourne for 15 games, delisted, picked up preseason selection. 18 games this year has him on the cusp of being above Eker level, and really needs to get some years on the board.

I’d completely forgot he was at St Kilds. Got a good chuckle out of it last night when I saw his name on the AFL app. Incredible!

I thought he did ok seemed to be in a lot but then I looked at his stats.
Then I saw Cordys stats and thought that’s near on Mooney gf figures.

As we lose Tom Campbell (for now), I read this article on Schache and thought...can a pick 2 be an eker? Do his three goals in the wet rule him out? A fourth club would have to qualify him imo...

Much like Phillips, Schache was taken high up in the AFL Draft - specifically Pick 2 back in 2015 AFL draft.

And having played at three different clubs since his drafting, it’s fair to say the 27-year-old has become a journeyman of the competition.

After stints at the Brisbane Lions and Western Bulldogs, Schache played just one game this season and three the year before at Melbourne before his delisting on Tuesday.

“Schache wants to continue to play at the top level” Jon Ralph stated.

“It will be difficult for him; maybe he’s an excess piece sort of prospect - put up his hand up, and try to impress (other clubs) during season and over summer.”

No way. One time I saw Dan Currie wind himself by landing on the ball trying to take a chest mark in a real AFL game. He still managed what like 15 years in the league. You have to acknowledge that.
