Hi All,

I'm Saeed, I've never been massively into 1 particular Team but since moving out West in late 2007, I felt a real connection with the Bulldogs and the west in general. I don't know what it is, but it feels like an all welcoming home. Can't wait for the Grand Final, even though i've got to move on my 2 mega event tickets but that's a story for another day

Just found this in my desperate search for a ticket... but that's for another thread.
I've been a fan since I was about 5 year old and remember many a cold winters day at the Western Oval in the late 70's, crying when we lost (which was all too often). Now have some little bulldogs, crying tears of joy!

Hello all - regards from 'KrautDog', as my nick indicates, a Doggies supporter with German roots.

Been a long time reader, now a first time writer. I got into footy and the Doggies because of work. My Aussie colleagues are keen fans of the game, unfortunately most of them rooting for the darker sides, Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, the usual. Thankfully, one of the chaps is a Westerner and given the club's history and location (Footscray, with all its beautiful edges!), the Bulldogs became my team.

Looking forward to good banter and keeping in touch with all things Doggies from afar.

Welcome to WOOF. I think you will really enjoy posts by knowledgeable, respectful WOOFers.

If you end up joining as a member or coming to games I think you'll find many Dog supporters pretty friendly and down to earth. The Cheer Squad is great too (I'm in it), although I think I read somewhere it may have reached capacity for 2017.

Also, as Murphy's Lore noted, there are a fair few of us female posters too.

Hello all,

I am a new member, although a long term Bulldog supporter who listened on the radio to the 1961 Grand final while living in northern Victoria. My family connection to the Club goes back a log time before that, but we moved to the country and I was not a member until returning to Melbourne until the late nineties. My Member name is Lanmar.
