Bloody hell, if last years GF didn't make for entertaining viewing I'm not sure what does. I was watching it with a Carlton supporter mate of mine and when Goddard took that grab we roared like diehard saints fans haha. um then quickly calmed down.

I read on the club website there is a legends game on with our NAB game on Sunday. Must be having them at all the games, had one last Saturday night at Etihad as well.
Should be a nit of fun, and better than watching the grass grow.

That was my entire passionate Bulldogs family. All of us were indifferent going in, I hated both sides, but for some reason we all decided to go for St.Kilda. We were very into it, I even tolerated Milne.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Maybe it's the greatness of the NBA over the years and the recent love for the NFL coming to the fore that has changed my mind about our game.
Its over-commercialised, look at the draw designed to maximize attendances, and this ridiculous NAB Cup format.

Saw in todays paper that the first game starts at 3.45pm - Cats V Roos, then 4.50pm Dogs V Roos, then 5.55pm Dogs V Cats. Was hoping we'd get the first 2 games so I could switch off when we finished. Now I'll just tune in later.

Whats peoples thoughts on the team getting a break in middle game, an advantage or disadvantage?

Did there seem to be any advantage in the games held last weekend?

Well Collingwood played 2 useless teams so cant count that.

Mainly posted it because they seemed to make an issue on telly of keeping warmed up.
If a team having the rest then goes out and gets a couple of muscle injuries I wonder if the press will jump on it or teams for that matter.

Of the 3 pools played, one was won by a team playing 1st & 2nd (Melbourne), one was won by a team playing 1st & 3rd (West Coast) & one was won by a team playing 2nd & 3rd (Collingwood).

KB was blaming the fact that the tiges got fatigued against a stronger fresher and more experienced opponent in collingwood. The bottom line was that the tiges ran out of legs after already playing a game and the pies were fresh.

I'm not sure what i think exactly but i would of thought it would be an advantage to play the last 2 games, because you get a team that is semi fatigued and then 1 that has had a long break.

There are also arguements to say otherwise.

Is it a team of 24 for the actual match, plus three emergencies that we can swap between games? So not all of these players will play?

Missing: Murphy, Hudson, Cooney, Hargrave, Hall, Lake.

Overall it's quite a strong squad.

Its over 2 games so they could all play I would imagine.

Pretty sure 3 players get cut by Sundays game, so not all play.
