We are only able to beat a top four side about once a year since 2008.

Today will be no different - Carlton by 6 goals+.

      BOG Murphy (carlton)

      First goal Walker
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Sounds like Jones is doing well.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

              Disgraceful, isn't it?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

7 frees to 1 Carlton's way. No consistency either.

I think I saw a big CFC on Chamberlains shirt.

He is, has taken some good strong grabs and kicked a goal.

Absolutely appalling...what I want to know is, has Chamberlain always been a Blues fan, or is it a new thing? He's shocking. Our blokes have to have blood spilt to get a free apparently.

Tom Williams doing really well too IMO, good positioning and reading the play well.

                      Jones' hands have been good.
Pretty even spread of performers so far. All players seem focused and working hard.
Early days obviously, but I am surprised. I expected the Blues to really hurt us early on.
Razor Ray has been horrible, paid against Hudson when he first tapped it from the ruck but then grabbed it afterwards and was tackled before getting a handball away. I thought the rule was only holding the ball if a ruck immediately took possession from the ruck and was tackled? Cost us a goal.
Then missed free kicks within 20 metres of our goal to Dahlhaus and Gia whilst missing an obvious throw by Mitch Robinson who did the old one handed handpass.

One of his most confident starts to date. Backing himself one on one and has taken a couple of good overhead marks under pressure, whilst as you say holding his position against Waite very well.

Umps always look at stats and even them up! Hopefully for us a few inside 50,

Johnno just pointed out an important stat that is worrying, Blues 12 inside 50's for 9 shots on goal. We're lucky they've kicked poorly.

Surely there has to be a rule saying Chamberlain and Peanut Nichols can't umpire in the same game, 2 attention seekers of the highest order!!
