Carton's shock loss to Gold Cost has improved my mindset for today:

We don't look like scoring at present.

Roughy in for a long one. The best key forward in the game vs a ruckman isn't going to turn out well for us.

Roughy and Marko both in the backline is frightening.

Why didn't Jong get a 50 metre penalty for a belt in the head. Umpires are so frustrating

Geelong could be ahead by more so in that regard 14 points behind at qtr time is not too bad. Wood has been pretty good in defence. Great courage once again from Lin Jong in that first quarter.

I can't recall seeing a side as poor at using the ball with any sense of intent or coherence as us.
If there is a plan, especially when moving the ball in the forward half, I can't see it.

Nice goal from Howard but it seems like it is going to be a long afternoon as Geelong gradually are increasing that margin.
