Much better this quarter taking it on and looking confident. Howard and DJ done some nice things.

First goal of his career to Lin Jong and good mark and pass by DJ. Wasn't going to say it today but we are in with a chance still.

Very proud of the lads effort this quarter, they have stuck to their guns and are having a red hot crack.

Great quarter from us. Let give the Cats a scare in this last quarter now. Much better.

If McCartney doesn't take Jong out of the backline, I'll spew up! Love the way he goes about it, but his kicking has been woeful today, costing several goals.

Take two of them back and we have a very close encounter.

Yep, another one now to give Hawkins a shot at goal. That makes 3 like that this quarter and 4 for the game.
On the plus side, he works very hard, and his clearance in tough scramble up forward led to a goal for us.
There is something to work with, and he is exactly the type of player that typifies the rookie pick- a guy who has some excellent attributes and some that might be below standard that you think you can improve.

Too true. Jong is a good pick-up but please, please, put him on ball or up forward!

I think Howard has played one of his best games for us. Yes, too bad he didn't kick that one, but I think he has held his own today

Very pleased overall so far. Although it looks as if Geelong may not have given us the respect that should be accorded to any AFL team, even one as poor as we have been this year.

Roughead has done a very good job so far on Hawkins and Talia on J Pod. Wood has also stood up.

DJ also has done some nice things.
Another good game by Griff, kicking not that great, however he has really improved his game immensely inside the contest and his hard work in this regard I think has added a positive dimension to his game.

Lets cut him some slack, he was doing his VCE last year. He has had some shocking kicks, but he looks like a player of the future.

Sure Jong hasn't kicked well today but he got his first goal ever and is in our future plans.

He seems to be running off half back/wing area. He has picked up 24 disposals so far.
