I'll let the disscussion keep going a bit, but I hope it ends with it being a 1985 flag. As it was one of our better years.
Just missed a GF. Brownlow to Hardie. Coleman to The Pieman. 5 year old Midget gets a flag.

Fairly sure that Neil Peart's signature sits below the Bulldog to the left (under Andrew Purser's) and he only played for us in 1985. In 84 and 86 he was on Richmond's list.

I have always wondered whose signature is next to that one? It is the only one signed with a marker. Any ideas?

OK. Right underneath the bulldog symbol is Peter Foster and next to him I'm pretty sure is Robert Groenewegan. Ricky Kennedy is next to the bulldog's tail and (I think) Angelo Petraglia above him, Michael MacLean is above the dog's right ear and Jim Sewell underneath him. The bottom right hand corner is Simon Beasley and Steve MacPherson is above him.


I'll try and get some more tomorrow.

And given the absence of either Jim Edmond's or Neil Cordy's autographs I'd say that this would be 1986.

Peart only played in 1985 season. Is his signature the one near Foster?

To the left with a little stick figure type of thing BAD? Between Foster and Hawkins? Because it's in texta and not pen I'm thinking it's not a player's signature. I reckon someone has drawn on it.

I think I have the wrong signature as Fosters. What is the signature under Purser, it looks like a Neil?

I've got Fossie directly underneath the 'LLDO' of BULLDOGS.

Did you work out the Neil to the right of it, under the Purser signature?

Also above the bulldogs head, to me looks like another Foster signature?

Haha, I think Fossie has signed it twice! That's such a Peter Foster thing to do.

I cant make out who that is underneath Polly's autograph. Also given it's got Allistair Ford's sig on it I dont know that it is 1986 now. Unless it was really early in '86 and Edmond and Cordy have left for Sydney but Ford hasnt been cleared to St Kilda yet.

Maybe it was signed twice. Orginally in 1985 (When Peart was there), and then again in 1986 - Foster then signs again?

I was thinking Neil Cordy's signature was the one next to McLean and under Graeme Cordy's?
Top right of flag. Hard to see.

Well it is helping me out extremely. Thanks to everyone throwing their thoughts in.
If anyone wants to have a crack at them all I won't object.
I love the dogs but some of these signatures are beyond me.
