Romero reportedly ran a few KM's before each match just to warm up! So it could well be true.

Jose had a falling out with Dennis Pagan and isn't exactly the forgive and forget type. Luckily for us.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Just off topic for a bit Bevo told me that when we recruited Jose it was the catalyst of him getting the flick.

gee our boys have become good breeders.
Any word on Scotty Wests twins?

We'll have a starting 22 of father sons soon.

You mean that Jose took Bevo's spot on the list?

Yes that was what he told me at The White Ribbon Day when I asked about his playing days with us.

Nice of Bevo not to hold a grudge ;-)
On that in a couple of years we could have two WAllis,s 2 liberatores a Romero and a hunter.

Kellett is the real deal as far as a kid can be. We could've had the second Wallis, and a MacPherson & Foster too. If we are serious about getting the band back together, Libba & Romero means we just have to take Dimmatina's son no matter what. Although using the term 'Wog Squad' is probably politically incorrect now, which means Guido Hatziz won't be making a comeback to footy shows.

Of the mainstream news, Kellett polls well in the league B&Fs (pretty sure he's won it twice), he's the team best player and plays interleague with Ollie Liberatore. Those who I talk to and watchers I listen to are very bullish that Kellett is a kid to watch for the next 3 years.

So many kids coming through, we will truly be the Sons of the West.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
