    Thing is we were contenders that year so it made sense for a player to rush back. This year will probably be a bit of a nothing year so I'd rather Tom focus on getting his body right for next year.

        Also don't forget it also could've bee the end for him if he didn't get back so quickly.

          He was on year to year contracts then. He played his last six seasons on one year contracts.
          They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

            Yeah, it was a perfect storm of Libba having to get back into the team as quickly as possible. Tom doesn't have that problem.

              I cant back this up, but I suspect having short legs puts less stress on the knee. Something about levers maybe.
