Our tall timber is working well down back at the moment, but they've still got further development to go and having Dale out on the field can only help that.

Great to see Morris, Fuller, Kelly back in full training and Bonts and Picken likely for selection as well.
Leaves only Cordy, Libba, Smith and Goodes on the injury list.

I noticed 15th June injury report Zaine had another 2 weeks to go. This week is 4 or 5. Did he have a set back?

That's a very short list. Crameri will be fine, we've got 4 players on the injury list including 1 rookie and 1 first year player

Injury News from WB website:

Lin Jong and Jordan Kelly didn’t line up for the Dogs in the VFL after not being named in the side due to minor injury concerns.

“Lin’s had a bit of general soreness just in terms of total playing load and he had tight adductors so just really in a precautionary sense we managed him out of the game so we need to make some good decisions around him and make sure he finishes the season strongly.


“Jordan had a low grade adductor strain so we’re just making show that we get that settled down and looking to welcome them (both) back pretty quick.”


Footscray also rested rookie Roarke Smith but Lowe expected him to be available this weekend.


“Roarke’s a young player and he’s played a lot of game time so just from a general management perspective we want to make sure that we manage him through the season and to the back end of it well so we made a decision for him not to play.”


In positive news, young defender Zaine Cordy is moving through his rehab after fracturing his thumb.


“Zaine’s progressing really well and we’re looking to welcome him back in the next two to three weeks, so he’s doing well, it’ll be good to have him back out on the track.”

Honeychurch - out two weeks

Hrovat - at least a week

McLean - Season

Roughie - to be monitored and will travel to Cairns

Morris - no surgery required, and will also be monitored

Depth is starting to be tested. Biggs, Darley, et al will get more opportunities. Hope they can grab them.
