As nice as the last quarter was, Geelong really slowed to a walk. A lot of the goals kicked (at least two of Dale's and one of Mclean's) were very simple joe-the-goose style goals.

Good that they were still running and got to those spots, but don't read too much into the numbers.

Darley is one who I haven't given enough credit too...played well as a third tall at times, used the ball well as we have come to expect and showed a bit of leadership out there as well.

I personally didn't notice Dale all that much, but was potentially getting him mixed up with others. Prismall in the best players is a surprise.

In reply to the question about Ayce, I thought he contributed well early all around the ground. Took at least two or three strong contested marks, body on body wrestling, in the forward line and kicked well. Campbell probably actually played better as a linkman through the middle. Fairly comparable games from the two of them.
