Wait until they bail up the AFL PA and ask them whether the PA executive endorse man handling umpires and then demand Will resign so it doesn't discourage young umpires taking the trade up...

If he gets 3 weeks for that, Slater and Gordon should step in. What the hell is the world coming to when a guy can get a worse penalty for touching an ump than a bloke can get for tripping a guy???

It looked a lot worse from the angle I was watching (Doug Hawkins wing). Will made forceable contact to an umpire, I'd be shocked if he doesn't get multiple weeks.

Greg Williams got 9 weeks for doing something with no more force. Not that I'm condoning Will getting 9 weeks, just that the Williams case was probably the most over-the-top penalty in proportion to the crime in tribunal history.

Jeeze its abit rough on Will, i know your not allowed to touch an umpire full stop, but for the umpire to actually enforce the rule when there was no malice in the action has got me buggered. Im thinking it could be the umpire just trying to get his name in the paper.
