Biggs with nearly 20 touches at half time. A little bit hit and miss but he's been very good.

Bit of a cop out IMO, especially given he also made a weak tackle attempt which had nothing to do with the sun. Talia regularly fumbles those type of handballs.

Cordy with 4 at halftime. We may see him at AFL level again.

Maybe - wish he could replicate this at AFL level but he can't.

He has been pretty good in that first half, some nice tricks, marks and aggression. Campbell has been good in the ruck too.

For mine, although Cordy has been excellent and Biggs very good, the only player I'd consider for promotion would be Daniel. He just looks a level above with great composure and decision making coupled with sound skill. These traits translate well to the top tier.

Not dismissing the tackle. He gave up on the play as soon as he fumbled but he was trying to catch a ghost under pressure. Had Russell went by foot straight away or a lower handpass I'm sure it would have been fine.

We're up by a goal at the half. Better 2nd quarter. I'm guessing a wind advantage the way both teams have played kicking to the non scoring end.

They haven't mentioned it but it looks a 2-3 goal wind to the left of screen. A couple of kicks to the right held up to the point where they started going backwards.

He has been pretty good in that first half, some nice tricks, marks and aggression. Campbell has been good in the ruck too.

I wouldn't play him again personally, but if we're picking on form he's a chance. He's just so far off AFL level I don't think it's worth continuing with him. The huge reach advantage he has at VFL isn't as pronounced at the higher grade and his lack of strength gets exposed.

Nice mark and goal from Campbell into the wind. 5 goals from the big guys, they kill teams at this level.
