Free kick from out of bounds on the full in the back pocket. Went to kick across goal and hit the opposite point post.

Thought Morris was quite average, but he's missed a lot of footy. Needs another week.

Hunter has to be the most frustrating player on the list. Obvious talent, but for somebody with skill he turns it over regularly and he can't win hard ball.

That's alright then. I thought He'd re injured himself.

        Cheers.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I saw Peter Quill do this in front of the Legends Stand at Princes Park against Carlton back in 1995. Except he was almost on the defensive 50 and still managed to hit the behind post on the other pocket. Quilly was always good value for at least one defensive howler a week.

Recorded the game, so will watch it today. Looking forward to seeing Ed 'The Future' Barlow in action.

The Big Cheese got around it a couple of times. Unfortunately, he didn't quite do enough to warrant a return to the Kennel.

Re: Footscray v Richmond VFL Round 10 2015

                OK, my very quick thoughts:-

Biggs - great at receiving the ball and running at/through defenders. His disposal was not perfect all the time, but generally it was good and attacking. If he plays another game like that it would be hard to ignore him.

Jong - looked better but still lacked the confidence to really run and take off when in possession, which was the highlight of his early season form in the AFL. Close to a recall though given our lack of genuine midfielders.

Redpath - contested pretty well but didn't knock the door down.

Smith - looks a very good prospect, can fly for marks, has pace and uses it well.

Kelly - spent a bit of time around the ball and I thought he was pretty good. He wasn't a standout performer, but did his job and showed some versatility. Could be one to keep an eye on over the balance of the year.

Pearce - had a pretty good game. Did some good work defensively and whilst he isn't going to tear games open, he can use the ball neatly and is getting a bit of it.

Hunter - lot of the ball, which ended with a mix of good, bad and ugly. He just needs to make better decisions when he initially takes possession because he often moves the wrong way, tries to duck a tackle or do something he could avoid, which then creates more pressure.

Prudden - thought he was good until he was subbed out, another I'd like to see get a game soon.

Daniel - tidy user, knows how to find the ball. Isn't afraid to lay a big tackle either for a little bloke. I think he's close to selection.

Darely - did a few OK things but wasn't a standout performance. Not sure where he sits in the pecking order at the moment but may be entering the zone of potential delistee.

Fuller - not a huge impact. Had a few OK efforts in contests but he wasn't able to demonstrate his kicking ability and didn't find enough of the ball.

Campbell - reasonable game putting in a lot of good work at ground level. Not quite there for a promotion based on today, but I think his game is coming along well. I hope we see him in the seniors before the season is out.

Honeychurch - a standard Honey game, finds himself in a lot of contests, and is ferocious in them. I like what he's about and I'd be happy to see him back.

Morris - didn't do a huge amount but made a few intercept marks and generally was OK besides the howler G-Mo referred to.

                Hamilton - limited impact yesterday.

It would appear that Prudden is close to selection. Particularly as Bevo pulled him out as cover for the senior side.

Caleb Daniel also went well. Those two will add to the 2015 avalanche of good kids to debut for us. Webb, McLean, Dale, Hrovat, Hamling and Honeychurch. Then there's Roarke Smith on the Rookie list who looks to me to be an AFL player in the making.

That's a pretty decent harvest, there!

Smith is big kid and he seems to get taller everytime I see him.

Has that same raw athleticism Wood has also. Better skills than you'd expect from a guy billed as a scrappy half back.

I watched him at training on Friday. He was walking/running laps with a footy in his hands. The ball looked like a kiddies ball in his hands, they are huge. Big kid, good skills, tackles well. We could be onto something.

Sorry, mentioned him earlier so left him out.

Best game I've seen him play. His marking and agility both impressive, he was hungry for the ball. Would be right in the mix for the senior side.

I'd love to see him bring the agressive attitude he shows to contests in the VFL where he will throw his weight around and crash into marking contests into his AFL game. It would serve him well.

Just on a few guys having watched on TV:
Jong: Improved on his recent AFL form, but was still a bit fumbly throughout the match. I'd like im to spend another week really trying to regain confidence before he gets picked again.

Daniel: The next to debut. Generally used it well, and he is very good at assessing his options by hand and withdrawing the handball as he is halfway through actioning it. Very impressive and probably the one guy who genuinely looked as if he belongs at the next level.

Biggs: Accumulated a lot of the footy but for mine didn't use it particularly well or creatively. He was solid, not outstanding. I've been underwhelmed with what I've seen of Biggs, I was expecting much more.

Cordy: 6 goals from 8 disposals (?). Was very good up forward and good in the ruck especially early.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
